More than 1700 kilometers in 90 days on the VIA ROMEA from Thuringia to Rome. Brother Klaus from the St. Wigberti monastery reports on his experiences in his blog. Under the motto “A Church”, he was on the pilgrim route in 2011.
Brother Klaus from the Ecumenical Benedictine Monastery in Werningshausen (Thuringia) was on the way to Rome on the VIA ROMEA in summer 2011. In 90 days, he made the pilgrimage to the holy city, 1600 kilometres away. He recorded his experiences in a blog and on DVD. Under the motto “Pilgrimages to Rome… 1600 kilometres on foot for the unity of the Church”, he can be invited to give lectures.
